American football coach who is known for being the head coach at Mississippi State University.
He attended La Cueva High School. From 2005 to 2008, he played college football at the University of New Mexico as a linebacker. He was a two-sport athlete in high school, and even entered college as a baseball player before earning a scholarship for football.
From 2011 to 2019, he had various assistant coaching positions at San Diego State University. He earned Academic All-America honors while in college.
He is married to his wife, Emily and they have two children.
On December 11, 2022, he was named interim head coach at Mississippi State after Mike Leach was hospitalized. He became the full-time head coach after Leach's death on December 15, 2022.
