Also a political figure, she launched an unsuccessful 2005 campaign for a seat in the Argentine Chamber of Deputies.
She grew up in Buenos Aires in a family of Italian descent. She began her entertainment career as a Dancer and music hall performer.
She hosted several 1980s and 1990s variety shows, including A la cama con Moria and Monumental Moria.
Her first marriage, to Mario Castiglione, resulted in a daughter named Sofia Castiglione who also had a career as an Actress. Her second marriage was to Luis Vadalá.
