Actress and Comedian known for her roles in Friday and Hustle and Flow. She also provided the voice of Trudy Proud in animated series The Proud Family. In 2016 she portrayed Margarita Jean-Baptiste in the drama series Recovery Road.
She graduated from Howard University and shortly after moved to New York in order to perform at comedy clubs.
She appeared in the 2004 film She Hate Me.
In 2004 she married Forrest Martin, whom she met on the set of Hustle and Flow. They have one son, Onederful.
She briefly appeared on the Wayans Brothers show with Shawn Wayans.
