Rose to fame in 2006 after the release of her debut album Run All Night. She also gained fame touring as an opening act for Tegan and Sara, Pat Benatar, B.B. King, and Peter Frampton, amongst others.
During high school, she began her music career fronting the indie band Quite Satellite. However, not long after she would begin a career as a solo Artist and would release the debut solo EP Blood Laughs in 2004.
In 2009, her single "Devil's Thunder" was featured on an episode of ABC's Private Practice.
Her partner is YouTube host and television Producer Liz Feldman.
Tegan Quin was featured as a backing vocalist on her single "Saturday".
