Filipino middle blocker known for being a member of the Ateneo Blue Spikers, Ateneo de Manila University's college volleyball team. He's also known for his well-publicized relationship with fellow Ateneo volleyball player Therese Gaston.
He grew up playing basketball before discovering volleyball.
His college career made him very popular in the Philippines, earning him more than 200,000 followers on Instagram and 180,000 followers on Twitter.
He was born to Narcisso and Ning Intal and has five siblings, including professional basketball player JC Intal.
He and Dennise Lazaro both played volleyball at Ateneo de Manila University.
