Mexican Actress and musician who starred in Rosa Salvaje, and also performed the popular telenovela's theme song of the same name.
She performed in a 1970 stage production of Romeo and Juliette and released her first musical album four years later.
In 2008, she starred in Chiquita Pero Picosa. Then, in 2009, she was cast in the Argentine telenovela Los Exitosos Pérez.
She has two siblings, Jose and Beatriz. She married Comedian Manuel Valdés, with whom she had two children.
Her son, Cristian Castro, was nominated for a 1996 Lo Nuestro Award for Male Pop Singer of the Year.
