Soh reflected that he would respect the decision and move on from this.
When the payment of the full sum of $320,000 was made on 5 April 2022, Soh then challenged Liew to donate the $180,000 damage cost to "prove [his] sportmanship" as it was funded with donations Soh crowdfunded from the public. Liew declined to do so.
