In a post-match press conference, White accepted his loss, although he blamed it on former Bullet club stablemate Hikuleo, who had attacked White and left the stable in September. This led to White challenging Hikuleo to a "Loser Leaves Japan Match", which took place on February 11, where Hikuleo defeated White, forcing White to leave Japan.
