Martians was eventually discovered by Odd Future members Tyler, the Creator and Hodgy Beats, in which they liked the beats, but also thought that the beats were "weird".
But he eventually got invited to join the group, and then somewhere around 2008, rapper Pyramid Vritra, which was in the group NRK, reached out to Martians to help mix and master the group's tape, "The Goodwill Tape".
